Like many race horses, Wesley has a strong personality and like many thorougbreds, he can be delicate to handle because of his sensitivy - and he is still very young... So a lot of energy to work with and help him use in a positive manner. And, because he is very smart, and he likes people, he also loves to please. I am very glad to keep him on training with me for the next year and try to bring him to some clinics and shows ! Here, the pictures in the indoors are from clinics with Lisa Pierson and Colonel Carde, his first times out as a dressage horse.
Lorelei, 10 year old Oldenburg mare.
The owner of Lorelei found her in an auction last winter. It is a little bit like finding a Stradivarius violin in a corner of an antique store. So now we are tuning her up and within a couple of months she is already showing big progress. We are working on throughness, straightness while keeping her wonderful impulsion.
Red, 12 year old quarter horse gelding.
After a long period of time without any kind of work, Red presented some difficulties for his owners.
He was just really out of shape and had some heavy tensions on the top-line and forehand when put back to work.
He is now back in top condition and the owners who thought of selling him, will gladly keep him in the family !
Luther, 3 year old oldenburg stallion.
Already a champion in the in-hand shows, I am now starting him under saddle, focusing on keeping a relaxed and happy attitude for his new career. We got high 60s score at Intro last May.
Skye, 5 year old hanoverian mare.
Skye is a pleasure to work with... Very forward with a very strong back, she's now learning counter canter and half-pass. She is getting score in the high 60s at Training Level and is starting to show First Level.
